No lender pays for placement
No lender pays this site for inclusion in the lender list, for its position in that list, or for its score. Outbound links to lender websites are provided for research convenience and are not paid placements.
How the lender ranking is produced
Lenders are ordered by the DSCR Accessibility Score, a published model computed only from criteria each lender publishes on its own website. A figure a lender does not publish scores zero rather than being estimated. The full category weights and scoring rules are published on the research site that maintains the model.
What a rank does not claim
A rank compares published criteria. It is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or a statement that a lender is right for your deal, and it cannot account for pricing on your file, underwriting judgment, service quality, or anything a lender assesses after reviewing documents. A lender ranked lower may be the better choice for a given scenario.
The fit finder has no concept of a lender
Its questions, its rules, the tiers it assigns, and the order it shows them in are decided entirely by what you tell it about the property, the rent, and your goal. Nothing in the matching engine reads any commercial input, and a unit test asserts the engine source contains no lender reference at all.
This site is not operated by a lender
DSCR Loan Central is an independent educational tool. It is not a lender, a mortgage broker, or a loan originator, and it is not owned by or operated by any lender.
Results are educational
Results are educational information based on answers you provide. They are not approvals, pre-qualifications, commitments to lend, or offers of credit.
Program criteria change
Lending programs change, sometimes without notice. Confirm current requirements and terms directly with a lender before relying on them.
